Who This Is For
Whether you know you want to teach yoga or simply feel called to understand the practice more deeply, The Embodied Yogi School offers a different way to begin.
This isn't about memorizing poses, collecting hours, or rushing toward a certificate.
It's an invitation to study yoga as a living practice.
Through our 200-hour yoga teacher training in Torrance, California, you'll explore movement, philosophy, anatomy, teaching methodology, self-inquiry, and the art of holding space while developing an authentic teaching voice of your own.
And you don't have to arrive knowing exactly where the journey will lead.
Some students come to become yoga teachers.
Some come to deepen their personal practice.
Some begin with a single immersion and discover along the way that they're ready for more.
There is a path for each of them.
A Different Approach
Many yoga teacher trainings ask students to absorb an enormous amount of information within a short period of time.
The Embodied Yogi School was intentionally designed differently.
Our in-person training unfolds through six months of immersive education, giving you time between modules to practice what you're learning, integrate it into your own body and life, ask questions, and grow.
After the six-month immersion series, certification-track students have up to 12 months from the beginning of the program to complete remaining graduation requirements.
Want to finish sooner?
You can.
Students who complete all training and certification requirements may finish after the six-month immersion series.
Need more breathing room?
Take the full year.
The goal isn't to finish quickly. The goal is to leave prepared.
